ONS labour market statistics
The labour market
Work and worklessness in one place: the employment, unemployment and inactivity rates from the Labour Force Survey, job vacancies from the Vacancy Survey, and the claimant count from the benefit system. Survey estimates and administrative counts measure different things and are kept separately labelled; the claimant count is also published for every local authority.
