Which hotels are used to accommodate asylum seekers, and how many people are in each?

Why
The number of supported asylum seekers in hotel accommodation is published nationally (20,885 at end-March 2026, 21% of those supported) and by local authority by accommodation type (Asy_D11). Hotel names and addresses are not published. Requests for the list have been refused under section 38 of the Freedom of Information Act (health and safety), and the Information Commissioner's decision notice IC-298646-F1K4 (September 2024) upheld the Home Office's refusal to confirm or deny.
