Council Tax: stock of properties
Data are extracted from the VOA's administrative database as at 31 March each year, published the following September; each year's edition is its own release page, so publication_url must be repointed annually. All counts are rounded to the nearest 10 and counts of 1 to 4 are suppressed ("[c]"), so bands sum to the total only within rounding. Band I exists only in Wales (lists effective from 1 April 2005); English rows mark it "[z]". County and metropolitan county aggregate rows (CTYMET) are skipped, and the pre-April-2025 codes the file uses for Barnsley and Sheffield are recoded to current LAD codes.
