ONS · Census 2021 (21 March 2021) · Local authority

Born in the United Kingdom by local authority

What this map shows

318 of 318 local authority areas have a current value for born in the united kingdom (share of usual residents), Census 2021 (21 March 2021). Classes are quantiles of the areas with data, computed on the server, so the same link always gives the same legend.

What this does not measure

Only "born in the United Kingdom" carries a 2011 equivalent: the two censuses group the rest of the world differently, so the other categories have no 2011 or change page rather than a mapped-together one (§20).
